In a press pool report, Vice President Joe Biden predicts that about 200,000 new jobs will be created next month. In addition, President Obama has said that he is making job creation his priority. Following the creation of 162,000 jobs in March, this could mean a steady improvement in the economy.
Although this all sounds very nice and dandy, the VP has been in trouble before for over-hyping expectations. However, the following statement could make up for it slightly, ““We caught a lot of bad breaks on the way down,” Biden said. “We’re going to catch a few good breaks because of good planning on the way up.”
